Job Description / Responsibilities

 

  1. Conducting due diligence on new investment opportunities:
  • Actively support all aspects of the due diligence process and workflows
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis including creation of company operating models and evaluation of fundamental business economics
  • Preparation of company valuation materials
  • Perform market and competitive research
  • Prepare investment memos and other discussion materials
  • Understanding macro trends, conducting customer / founder references

 

  1. Identifying new investment opportunities and themes:
  • Source new investment opportunities through direct outreach and existing relationships
  • Perform market research to identify investment trends, sectors, and themes
  • Assess competitive landscapes and other market mapping exercises

 

  1. Supporting active portfolio companies:
  • Support occasional, short term project work for portfolio companies
  • Help support portfolio review

 

  1. Other responsibilities supporting the investment team:
  • Internal metrics benchmarking and data analysis
  • Other projects as needed
  • Craft and publish compelling content on best practices in functional, industries/verticals, and categories 

Qualified Experience / Skills / Training: 

Education:

Required:

  • Enrolled and working towards a Masters degree or Doctorate Phd degree.

Preferred:

  • Pursuing Masters or Doctorate in Aeronautics or relevant

Experience:

Required:

  • Evidence of Completion of Project from planning, data research, and preparation with on time submittal within team environment.

This position is a temporary (contract) position with no specific time period but could be extended or shortened as needed.  Contractors are employed by a 3rd party vendor and placed on assignment to Airbus in America.
